About Hypnosis

Hypnosis is an incredible tool that allows us access to our subconscious mind. Our subconscious is whereas much as 95%-97% of our beliefs, behaviors and habits are stored. Working directly with the subconscious, can help to make positive, lasting changes in creating a life you truly want to live.

Hypnosis is a very natural, safe state that actually occurs daily. For example, if you've ever driven somewhere only to arrive and forgot how you got there, that is what we refer to as "highway hypnosis." What highway hypnosis shows us is our mind's ability to focus. Even though during that time the attention was focused internally, we can still maintain external awareness in order to drive safely.

When we are in the hypnotic state, we have a heightened state of awareness. It is during this time that you can access and strategically rewire the subconscious mind to make positive, lasting improvements in your life. We are able to achieve this healing state of hypnosis during our online sessions from the comfort of your home.

FAQ

FAQ

  • Is hypnosis “mind control”?
Not at all! Under hypnosis, you cannot be made to do anything against your will. Your moral and ethical codes remain intact while under hypnosis.
  • Can I get “stuck” in a hypnotic trance?
Nope. Hypnosis is a very natural dreamlike state that everyone experiences throughout the day. During hypnosis, your mind and body are extremely relaxed. Since you remain in control during this time, you can bring yourself out of this relaxed state at any point in the process.
  • Can I be hypnotized?
Yes! Everyone can be. Hypnosis is a very natural state that we all experience during our day. Have you ever watched a movie and jumped during a frightening scene or cried during a heartfelt scene? Or have you experienced that drowsy feeling right as you are falling asleep? If you’ve experienced any of those to some degree, you’ve been hypnotized!
  • How many sessions will it take to overcome my issue?
Everyone’s healing journey is different. On average, I’ve found success between 4 and 6 sessions. A study was done by the American Health Magazine comparing the effectiveness between hypnotherapy, behavioral therapy, and psychoanalysis. It found that there was a 38% recovery using psychoanalysis after 600 sessions, a 72% recovery using behavioral therapy after 22 sessions, and a 93% recovery using hypnotherapy after 6 sessions.
  • Will hypnosis work for me?
Absolutely! And hypnosis will work more effectively the more willing and open you are to change. So, the real question is, are you ready to overcome your current challenges?
